Today we honor Francis Bagley with the Altoona Fire Department whose LODD was 8/13/1936. Fireman Francis A. Bagley, 55 - Engine Company 9 Altoona Fire Department. Altoona, PA Fireman Bagley died as a result of chronic Endocarditis. He was found dead in bed in quarters. Fireman Bagley complained of having indigestion early in the day. He had been in ill health for some time. Fireman Bagley returned to duty May 21st after having been off duty for four months of a heart ailment.
